Countdown as begun!!!

Hopefully next week at this time this whole  nightmare will be in our past.  We are all very anxious for this surgery.  We just want it to be OVER and done with.
We will be calling CHOP Wednesday after 3:30 for our arrival time for Thursday.  They operate youngest to oldest so we will see how this amazing 7 year old falls in line that day.

We want to take a minute and thank each and every one of you that has sent cards and gifts for Morgan.  She will be so surprised and I think it will keep not only her mind off the surgery but all of ours.

Morgan has the biggest fan club she could ask for from Upper Perkiomen Middle School.  You can tell they are so proud of her and what she does.  She is like their baby sister and now that she is hurting they have come up to bat for her.  They each made awesome cards for her with cute riddles in them.  They are also in the process of making a box so that all the cards and gifts can accompany Morgan to the hospital.  We really can't thank everyone enough.  Just the prayers alone are so sacred to us.

Miss Morgan is sure growing up!

We will update this blog next week for Morgan's followers.

Pray hard for her!!!!!

The feeling you get when you help someone

Hi everyone,

Christmas is over and I am back to school.

I am scared to death for my upcoming surgery!!!!!  Sometimes I can't help it and I am not so brave as so many of you think.  It is hard for me to talk about it even though I know I should.  I have talked to my teacher and the kids in my classroom.  My class has all started praying for me. Mommy has me on the pray list at our church.  Those people really  know how to do it!

Many people say, well she has been thru so many surgeries and I should be a professional.  You know what the problem is?  I have been thru so many surgeries and I know what happens and that is why I am scared.  I need all the prayers I can get.  My Mommom and I always pray for God to wrap his big strong arms around me and let me feel his presence.

Today I found out about a little girl that also needs some prayers and help.  We have a little money since our next bucket donation isn't until Easter and we sent it to her.  She is the same age as me, she is blind and deaf and has many other issues.  We are helping to get her a suit that is only made in Sweden.  Some day we hope this suit allows her the ability to walk.

The nice person doing the fundraiser for this little girl sent me a note today and I want to share it with you.  I know some of you are my biggest supporters.

Dear Morgan,

I received your very generous donation today to help Tori Joy and her family.  Tori is 8 yrs old and this money will go towards a neuro feedback suit.  (this will help her muscle work better).  This suit is coming from Sweden!  It will be custom fitted for her and they will adjust the suit for her as she gets bigger.  Tori's mom and dad are hoping that this suit will help her to one day be able to walk.  I am attaching a letter that gives you some information on an organization that they are working with.  It also tells you a little about Tori and her family.

Morgan God has blessed you with the biggest heart ever!  As we know God makes us all special but you be dear are so much more than special.  You have more kindness in your heart than many grown-ups I know.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  You truly are a remarkable young lady know my entire team of friends who are doing this little fund-raiser are also thankful.  May God bless you and keep you close always.
